QUESTIONS WE ARE OFTEN ASKED

DORMITORIES

- Do we need to bring our own sheets or sleeping bags?

Please bring a fitted bottom sheet a pillow-case and a top sheet or a sleeping-bag. Blankets will be provided.

-Is there a bathroom in the dormitory?

Each dormitory has its own private bathroom.

- How many places do the dormitories have?

We have dormitories sleeping 6, 10, 14, 16 or 18 guests.

- Is there heating? What about air conditioning?

The whole centre is heated but there is only air-conditioning in the dining-hall at meal times.

THE DINING HALL

- How are meals served?

Each group must lay and clear their own tables, serve out the food and wipe down the tables and sweep the floor at the end of each meal.

- My daughter is celiac: do I need to bring special food for her?

No, you don´t need to do so, as we can adapt our menus to avoid food allergies. But we would of course need to know about your requirements when you book.

OUR SPORTS FACILITIES

- Is sports equipment available?

Yes, we have equipment for the facilities we offer (basket-ball and football balls, tennis racquets and table-tennis bats).

THE POOL

-Must an official life-guard be present?

The dimensions of our pools are less than 200 m2 so an official life-guard is not necessary, although each group should be accompanied by their own qualified monitor.

- How deep are the pools?

There are two pools: the smaller one has an access ramp and is only 0’70 metres deep whereas the larger one has a maximum depth of 1’70 metres.

OTHER QUESTIONS

- Do you have wi-fi?

Wi-fi is available in the dining-hall and sitting-room area.

- Do you have bathroom facilities for the handicapped?

We have adapted the whole centre specially with the needs of the handicapped in mind. We can welcome special needs groups of different kinds, as there are access ramps and widened doors, and of course we have adapted bath- and shower-rooms and toilets.

- How far is the holiday centre from Banyoles town-centre?

You can walk to the town centre in about 20 minutes.

- Is there a public Health Centre nearby?
